Scott Mansfield idolized The King. When he left the company in April of 2000, he left certain holy relics behind, knowing that the next person to occupy his office would treat the items with the adoration they deserved. He left behind his gila monster with the suction-cup feet. He left behind his plastic-domed statue of St. Claire of Assisi, Patron of Television. He left behind his mahogany desk set, including a clock that always reads 5:05, quitting time. He also left behind this shrine to The King, which was carefully and reverently transported to the Center when Technical Writing Services relocated here in December of 2000. The King lives on, in all our hearts, and this shrine is now dual in nature: It primarily honors The King, but also honors the Founder of Technical Writing Services, who also lives on, in all our manuals.

*The 'Shrine' is currently set up in the office of Suzette Dearing.  She is the author of the historical accounting above.
